Michael is an experienced global business and information technology executive in the Office of the CIO who leads the mergers & acquisitions IT teams. Recently returned from his two year expatriate assignment in Budapest, Hungary, Michael leads this global team from Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, and is an active agile champion for the CIO and local NC teams. Michael is also focused on the Apple+IBM partnership, supporting the technical enablement of the partnership using IBM technology.
Michael holds an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird, a BA in International Studies, concentration Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and studied for a year at the Technische Universität Berlin as part of his undergraduate curriculum. He has been granted several patents for his innovations in the telecommunications, travel and retail industries.
