DeAlva Wilson is President and CEO of the D. Wilson Agency, a management consulting and leadership development firm.
DeAlva launched the D. Wilson Agency to help address consistent leadership gaps she observed among company executives and managers. Although talented, many lacked knowledge of effectual strategies to both overcome intrinsic barriers, and move their careers and organizations forward most effectively. Today the agency’s services support executives and organizations in strategic leadership development, professional excellence and strategies for organizational growth.
The firm accomplishes this through Purposeful Leadership©, a skillfully designed, comprehensive approach to strengthen leadership, organizational effectiveness and change management. D. Wilson Agency’s client list has now grown to include leaders and organizations across a wide range of industries including financial services, communications, legal, energy, arts & culture, social services, professional sports, and education.
A short client list includes Bank of America, Wells Fargo, TIAA-CREF, Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Federal Highway Administration, Wake Forest University, Target Corporation, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, Novant Healthcare, and Jack and Jill Foundation of America.
With DeAlva’s significant corporate experience in creating strategy, process design, operations and technology, the firm has organically grown a strong consulting practice that provides strategy development and implementation, operational support, and organizational development services.
Her professional career spans over 20 years with a range of executive and senior leadership roles within Fortune 500 companies. DeAlva’s most recent role before launching in 2011 was Director of Strategic Planning and Governance for Ally Financial.
